Raised in blue-sky Colorado, caught between mountains and desert, I grew up barefoot with a book in my hand.

After earning a degree in fine art, I spent several years in Japan, perfecting my ability to figure out what was happening around me and laughing at myself in another language.

Now, happily installed in a sunny corner of the Bay Area, I cruise local thrift shops for amazing shirts and sew them into underwear, edit product photography, teach computer skills to fine artists, and dream of adopting a cat.
